Eva Mae Dixon

Eva Mae Dixon (née Floyd) 91 of St. Louis , MO (previously at 80 LePere Court, Dupo, IL for 30 years) passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26th, 2024 at de Greeff Hospice House. The family wants to extend a big thanks to de Greeff. They were angels on earth!

Eva is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Ray Dixon; her parents, Clarence and Myrtle Floyd; two sisters, Nadine Tredway and Judy Brown: and a brother, Harry (Sonny) Floyd.

She is survived by one sister, Evelyn Crump of Bloomfield, MO and her five children,

Linda Osdieck (Bill) of New Lenox, IL, Ann Crockett (Larry Shaw) of St. Louis, MO,

Larry Dixon (Janet) of Belleville, IL, Peggy Johnson of Belleville, IL and Billy Dixon (Carol) of Belleville, IL; 11 Grandchildren, Lisa Voss (Jeff), Rob Osdieck (Samantha), Mark Osdieck (Karen), Billy Dixon Jr. (Irene), Melissa Hart, Danny Crockett (Lisa), Becky Wilbers (Jeff),

Natasha Crockett, David Crockett (Jeff), Ashley Johnson, Larry Dixon Jr. (Angela),

24 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.

Eva enjoyed creating flowers for social events and her family. She was a devoted homemaker, caring dearly for her children and family throughout her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Most of all she cherished spending time with her family. Eva’s ever so beautiful spirit will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Eva’s Life will be held at graveside on September 24, 2024 at 10:30 A.M. at
