

Jack was a retired hair Stylist, He was the owner and operator of Mr. Jacks House of Beauty near Scott Air Force Base for many years. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, and the East Lodge No. 504 A.F. & A.M.; The Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Southern Illinois; Ainad Shriners; and a member of the Ainad Krazy Klowns and Belleville Shrine Club. He also served in the United States Navy. Jack was an Avid Golfer and a fan of all sports. His passion was for clowning, “Mr. Jack”, as he was known, marched in many parades, putting smiles on children’s, as well as adult’s faces. He received numerous awards at regional contests for his costumes and skits.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; Frank J. and Emma E., nee Bange, Wagner and his sisters, Olive Weik and Jean Traube – Isselhardt.
Surviving are his loving and devoted significant other, Nora Ann Caldwell; children, Kent Wagner, Kai Wagner, Kelly Wagner and Kim Wagner and grandchildren, Kasey Wagner, Jennifer Murphy, Jessica Murphy, Courtney Murphy, Rachel Caldwell and Cassie Caldwell. Also, survived by nieces , nephews and other famly and friends.

A memorial gathering of friends will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.
Memorial Service Celebrating Jack’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the funeral home, with Pastor Bill Pierce officiating. Inurnment will follow in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois
