Jane Elenora Woolard

Jane was born March 12, 1956 in Belleville, IL to Clarence and Agnes (Roth) Drysdale. She married Michael Woolard on March 26, 1975 in Beaumont, TX. He survives and resides in Belleville, IL.

Also surviving are her children, Michael Woolard Jr. (wife, Diana) of Mineral Point, MO, Anni Peiffer (Scott Mierisch) of O’Fallon, IL, and Staci Yara of Belleville, IL; grandchildren, Cole, Keri, Levi, Paige, Seth, Kalli and Maeli; siblings, Arlene (Gene) England of Belleville, IL and Linda Grimes of Springfield, IL; dear friends, Cheri (Terry) Trusty and Mary (Don) Frierdich; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Asher; and brother-in-law, Don Grimes.

Jane adored her grandchildren; they were the light of her lives. She would often attend her granddaughters Color Guard competitions, as she was always her grandchildren’s biggest fan.

She was an exceptional cook and would always go above and beyond for holiday meals with her family. A memory that will now be dearly missed and treasured forever.

She was an active member of Assembly of God Church in O’Fallon, IL. She will truly be missed.

The family has entrusted Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home in Belleville with cremation rites.
