

Mr. Paul was a proud member of the US Navy. He was a very hard worker who worked for more than 20 years at Midwest Rubber and in his later years truly enjoyed driving a bus for Wolf Branch School. Jean along with his late wife, Janet, were league bowlers at Bel-Air Bowl. Jean enjoyed his life by golfing, playing cards, and taking trips to Vegas. He was a loving father, husband, brother, and friend who will be missed.
Jean is survived by his step son, Steve (Theresa) Gourley of St. Louis, MO; sister, JoAnn (Robert) Jurgena of Collinsville, IL; brother, Larry (Theresa) Paul of Waterloo, IL; granddaughter, Victoria Gourley; niece, Tishia (Jerry) Nichols; nephew, Eric (Brandi) Paul; great nieces, Autumn Arnold and Aleah Nichols; sister-in-law, Bobbi (Roy) Lovell; and many relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jean and Rosemary (nee Roark) Paul and his loving wife, Janet (nee Hand) Paul.
Services: Visitation on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at Valhalla-Gaerdner-Holten Funeral Home and on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 10 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
