Marsha Lou Van Den Berghe Meirink

Marsha Lou Meirink (nee Van De Berghe), 69, born June 7, 1944 in Kewanee, IL passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at her residence in Belleville surrounded by her loving family. Marsha was a member of St. Peter Cathedral in Belleville. She was light-hearted, spirited, and loved people. She enjoyed sewing and crossword puzzles and in her day was quite the bowler. Marsha was a great wife, mom, and grandma.

Mrs. Meirink was preceded in death by her parents, August and Margaret (nee Anderson) Van De Berghe and her loving husband, Robert F. Meirink. She is survived by her sons, Jeff (Cheryl) Gale of Mountain Home, AR, James “Jim” (Rose) Osborn of New Athens, IL , John Osborn of Mascoutah, IL, Robert “Bob” (Tisha) Meirink of Belleville, IL, and Robby Campbell; daughter, Anita Osborn (Debbie Bratton) of Moravin Falls, NC; grandchildren, Kassandra and Emily Gale, Zachary August Brown, Dustin Childs and Sean Osborn, and Amanda and Cody Meirink; a sister, Jeanne (James) Newman; sisters-in-law, Patricia (Larry) Beaty and Judy (Steve) Bertlesman; brothers-in-law, Dennis (Judy) Meirink and Jim (Carol) Meirink.; nieces, Kim O’Rourke, Christina Harris, Tara Beaty, Kendra Kaemmerer, Annette Hente, Lisa Kunklemann, Sherri Martin, Barbie Meirink, and Sandy Meirink; nephews, James Newman and Danny Meirink; and her beloved dog, Scout.
