

Mrs. Weilbacher was a loving, kind and caring person. She was the sweetest lady that anyone met. She loved to bake, bringing fresh baked cookies to Dr. appointments and for family and friends. She was an excellent cook, talented quilter and enjoyed her beautiful gardens full of flowers. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Mary helped her husband and sons on their farm till 1977, where they moved to the Lake of the Ozarks. Where they became members of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and was a member of the Crafty Ladies at St. Anthony’ Quilting Club. From there in 2004 they moved to Smithton, Illinois.
Mary was a member of St. Joe’s Catholic Church, Freeburg, Illinois and was a member of the St. Joe’s Ladies Quilting Club,
Mary was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Tricia Weilbacher; parents, Alfred H. and Mary, nee Schaefer, Schilling; brother, Edwin Schilling and her sister, Angela Wiskamp.
Surviving are her loving and devoted husband, Ralph J. Weilbacher, Sr., who she married on November 15, 1949 in St. Peter’s Cathedral; children, Violet (Alan) Sternau, Dale (Pam) Weilbacher, Ralph (Marcia) Weilbacher, Jr., and Cindy Lou (Keith) Anderson of Smithton, Illinois;
Grandchildren, Brad (Vicki) Weilbacher, Brett (Carli) Anderson, Jenna (Chris) Hughes, Amy (Dirk) Schaumleffel, Jason (Kristin) Sternau, Heather (Jeremy) Bulen, Andrew Weilbacher, Brooks (Joe) Ensminger and Monica (Jamie) Mize.; great grandchildren, Olivia Hughes, Addison Schaumleffel, Drake Schaumleffel and Ellianna Mize; brothers, Raymond Schilling and Alfred Schilling; sister, Alvina Pruett. Also, survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives family and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 11. North Alton Street, Freeburg, Illinois
A private inurnment will be held in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois
