Michael Charles Czyz, 66, of Chicago, IL passed away on September 27, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Fern Czyz; sister, Gloria (Randy) Von Kaenel; and sister in law, LaVonna Pelt. Michael is survived by his adoring wife of 34 years, Shona (nee Dell) Czyz; nephews, Gary (Kathy) Thompson and Scott Von Kaenel; brothers in law, Danny (Sharon) Dell and Wilburn “Jack” (Karen) Dell; and sister in law, Lori (Kim) Pullen; and many friends.
Michael was a graduate of the University of Illinois earning a degree in the field of metallurgical engineering. He was incredibly intelligent as well as funny and witty. He was the type of man who would do anything for anyone and had many friends. Michael took a position with his employer which afforded him and Shona many great opportunities for travelling abroad. They enjoyed many great adventures together on land and at sea. His kind heart and sense of humor will be missed.
