Surviving is his three children, Richard Darryl (Debbie) Cannady, Sharon Muren, Diane Cannady, and one grandson, Joseph Muren.
Richard was a teacher at Collinsville High School for over 30 years. He taught mathematics, drafting, and vocational trades. He was a loving and caring father and husband. He was a Christian man who loved celebrating life with family and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held on March 9, 2024 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Damascus Road Fellowship Church, 1485 Frank Scott Pkwy W, Belleville, IL with meal to follow. All are welcome to gather in remembrance of him.
