She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Izene and Margiebelle (Tate) Ashford, and one brother, Ernest Ashford.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Javis U’londa Ashford of Cahokia, Illinois, and Darren Mirandus Ashford of St. Charles, Missouri, grandchildren, Gregory Mirondus (Charity S.) Taylor, De’Monte Malik Ashford, and Nicholas Terrell Ashford, as well as great-grandchildren, Kaydan Damon Ashford, Isaac Saint Taylor, and Ayden P. Ayers.
During her life Roxine worked at St Elizabeth Hospital and Memorial Hospital for 34years in patient management. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping and going out to eat. She enjoyed and cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 11th, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at New Life Community Church, 1919 State St, East St. Louis, Illinois, 62205.

Interment to follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
