Ruby E. Taylor

Ruby was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was devoted to the love of animals; she loved to bowl, play cards, cook and especially to read. Ruby had a quick sense of humor, a loving, nurturing manner, that she never met a stranger.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Taylor, whom she married on October 15, 1952 and who passed on December 29, 2012 and her parents, John Franklin and Mary Ellen, nee Rea, Tabor.

Surviving are her loving children, David Allen Taylor of Nevada, Missouri and Carol Diane Taylor of Belleville, Illinois; granddaughter, Jamie Lynn Logan of Mascoutah, Illinois. Alos, survived by other relatives, family and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from1 to 3 pm on Friday, October 9, 2015 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois

Service: Funeral Services will be held at 3 pm at the funeral home on Friday, October 9, 2015

Interment in Valhalla Gardens of Memory will be held privately.
