Timothy A. Murphy

Tim was a member of St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church in Belleville. He had a wonderful group of friends from St. Augustine, Althoff and Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Time enjoyed golf, Blues Hockey and the St. Louis Cardinals baseball.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley, nee Smith, Murphy and a brother, Daniel Murphy.

He is survived by his daughter, Julia (Ryan) Haeffele of St. Louis, Mo; a son, Alex Murphy of Millstadt, Ill; his father, Edward Murphy of Belleville, Ill.; a brother, Michael (Maureen) Murphy of St. Louis, MO; and nieces and nephews, Andrea Swyear, Steven Murphy, Meagen Holtman, and Olivia Murphy.

Visitation: Friends may call on Monday, March 21 from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, 1910 W. Belle St., Belleville, IL 62226.

Services: A Memorial Mass will be at celebrated on Monday, March 21 at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Msgr. William McGhee officiating.

Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo
