William H. Ridenour

William was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Hobart Ridenour and Lydia Anne Thomas, his first wife, Charlotte Earlene Michael, and his siblings, Oscar Ridenour, Ava Alexander, Lawrence Ridenour, Pauline Gill, Delma Locke, Luther Ridenour, Rosetta Ridenour and Nellie Locke.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Konradt) Ridenour, children, Charlotte Reneck, Cheryl and Robert Justice, William and Kathy Ridenour, Michael and Renee Ridenour, Rodger and Angela Ridenour, Danielle and Alan Poettker, Quinn and Donna Pirkle, Jeanette and Robert Lash, Laura Burgess, and son-in-law, James Burgess. He is further survived by grandchildren; Tracey and Robert Williams, Stacy and Dewayne Cory, Judith and Scott Dulaney, Ishah Justice, Timothy Ridenour, Tobe Licker, Stephanie and Jeff Lucas, Michael and Amanda Ridenour, Brandi Ridenour, Tiffany Conklin, Christina and Stephen Crawford, Rachel Poettker, Nicholas Poettker, Jolene and James Willmering, Joshua and Hailee Pirkle, Jordan Pirkle, Daniel Carter, Brian and Erica Carter, Evan Burgess, and Xavier and Olivia Burgess, 18 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

William worked as a Laborer and Craftsman and loved to play music and sing. He attended the Church of God.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 18th, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral will be Sunday, July 18th, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.

Burial will be Monday, July 19th, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.

Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, American Cancer Society or to the Heart Association.
