Dwight was 91 years old when he passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve. Born May 7, 1932 in Connellsville, Pennsylvania and raised in Youngwood, PA. Dwight was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran serving on the USS Henderson DD 785 Destroyer in the Korean War between 1949 - 1953. He graduated college from Milwaukee School of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and MBA from Florida State University. He married Carol Gustafson and had three children. Dwight is survived by Pam, Tim, and Dana who reside in the Puget Sound Region. Dwight and family lived and worked in many places including Wisconsin, Illinois, Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, New Jersey, and settled in Satellite Beach, Florida working for the Boeing Co. on the Saturn V/Apollo Rocket Program (Lunar Descent Rocket Engine) that landed the first man on the moon. Dwight finished his career with Boeing in Seattle, West Virginia, and Munich. Dwight was an avid golfer at Fairwood Golf club, a fervent baseball fan of the Seattle Mariners, long-time member of Nativity Lutheran Church and tremendous supporter of his family.
