Oh Michael and Bonnie ... We have the best memories of your family .. reunions galore through the years. Your mommy was the most beautiful woman all her life. I can see why your dad (My uncle Norman) fell for that gorgeous lil gal! They were quite a couple. I loved visiting and staying in you basement in the summer. So many memories Michael. I will be thinking of all of you today.

Norm and Edith were dear friends of my parents, Lew and Ruth Pazaski.  We lived just a few blocks from one another, and both families attended Holy Cross Lutheran church.  Their daughter Lois and I became best of friends at a very young age and for many years, we were inseparable.  She was more like a little sister to me, and Michael and Steven were the pesty brothers :)  If Lois wasn't spending time at my house, we were at hers, and Edith became like a second mom to me.  She was one of the few mothers in the neighborhood who drove (it was the 50's!) and would take us all to the theater in Renton to see every new Disney movie that came out.  Her kitchen was a little slice of heaven (except when Lois and I had to do the dishes) and she almost always would have made cookies and then of course there were her "famous" chocolate cakes!  I stopped by to see her about 5 years ago, we visited for about an hour, just catching up on one another's lives and she was clearly proud of her children and their families. 
I feel truly blessed to have known this dear loving woman, and my heartfelt condolences go out to all who are feeling her loss.  God bless and keep you in His care.
