Edith “Iona” Palmer Taylor, 94, passed away on March 31, 2011 in Redmond, WA. She was born June 23rd, 1917 in Bentley, Alberta Canada, to Edith Hankins and Guy Palmer. She attended school in the Ilwaco school District, graduating from high school there. She married Jesse “Jack” Alfred Taylor. Iona was a member of Rainier Beach Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Rea, of Redmond, WA; son Jack Taylor of Aurora, Colorado; daughter-in-law Shirley Woll, of Redmond, WA; grandson Brian Taylor of Tacoma, WA; granddaughter – Jaci Guenther of Woodinville, WA; 4 great grandchildren Christopher and Katie Taylor, Grant and Grace Guenther. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Hills Funeral Home of Bellevue, WA.
