

He was born on April 4, 1932 in Seattle, Washington to Frank and Clorinda (Polet) Orrico. Gene had two brothers, Frank Anthony (Phyllis) and John Polet (Sylvia).
Gene Attended Mt. Virgin Grade School, Franklin High School and Seattle University. He was in the US Navy onboard the USS Walker.
In September, 1956 he married Bette DePiano. Together they had four children.
Gene had a very successful career in the Meat Industry. He worked from the ground up, first cleaning floors at Newton’s Meats on Rainier Avenue a company he eventually went on to buy. A number of years later Gene merged with Keener’s Meats. These combined Companies became K&N Meats, one of the largest Family owned businesses in the state of Washington.
Gene loved fishing, hunting, his family, and mostly his “cute” wife!
He is survived by his wife of 65 years Bette. Daughter Jean, sons, Brian (Janice), Craig (Ronda), John (Jennifer). Grandchildren, Sarah, Paige, John Anthony and Ryan.
