Eva Marilyn Smith

age 80, of Ellensburg, WA passed away peacefully on August 21, 2015 in Yakima, WA. Eva was born in Omak, WA to Edward and Wauneta Smith on January 22, 1935. Eva spent her younger years working in the culinary industry, cooking and being a hostess in various hospitality related fields. She also enjoyed square dancing and listening to music. Eva loved to care for her family and enjoyed cooking for her children and her grandchildren. In her later years, Eva met Roy Morrison and for 17 years he and Eva were always side by side. Together they enjoyed watching Mariner’s baseball. Roy also loved to spoil Eva with roses from his garden as often as he could. Eva is survived by her longtime partner, Roy Morrison of Ellensburg, WA; by her three loving daughters, Bonita Millerbernd (Jim) of Rosebud, MT, Anita Reynolds of Lakewood, WA, and Juanita Murphy (James) of Newcastle, DE. Eva also leaves behind her twin brother, Ed Smith (Lynda) of Camano Island, WA, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many other extended family members and friends. A service to celebrate Eva’s life will be held at Sunset Hills Funeral Home, 1215 145th Pl SE in Bellevue, WA on Friday, August 28, 2015, beginning at 11:00am, with a small luncheon following her service.
