Kristin passed away June 23, 2012. She was born in Bellevue, WA to Donna Palmer Miles and Don Miles. She attended schools in Bellevue, graduating from Sammamish High School where she was acyive in Jazz Choir. She received her undergraduate degree at the UW in International Studies and her J.D. from the UW in 1998. Kristin worked as an Assistant Attorney General UW Division and for Social and Health Services Division for 14 years. She was a brilliant and accomplished lawyer, having authored a number of chapters in the Washington Health Law Manual. She was a board member of the Washington State Society of Healthcare Attorneys. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Survivors include her parents, Donna Miles of Bellevue and Don Miles of Bellevue; brother, Scott of Bellingham; grandmother, MaryLou Palmer of Bellevue and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held Saturday July 14th at 2 PM at Sunset Hills Funeral Home in Bellevue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harborview Care Foundation or the National Alliance for Mental Illness.
