

Larry Boyd Vickers, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Dec. 10th, 2011, at his home in Monroe, WA, with his ever faithful companion, at his side, his dog, Molly. He was born in Seattle, WA to Boyd and Louise Vickers on February 8th, 1951. Larry was retired from Safeway grocery warehouse in Bellevue, WA, where he had worked since his early 20’s. He is predeceased by his father, Boyd Vickers. Larry is survived by his son, Michael Vickers, Port Orchard, WA, his daughter Leah Vickers, Castle Rock, CO, his mother, Louise Vickers, Mercer Island, WA and his sisters, Martha Motta, Bellevue, WA and Sharon Robertson, Mercer Island, WA. He was also survived by his two nieces, Samantha Motta, and McKenna Robertson and two nephews, Jonathon Motta, and Michael Robertson. For those fortunate enough to have known Larry well, they will remember him as the intelligent, handsome man with a quick wit, and amazing sense of humor. He was generous and fiercely loyal. Larry had a wonderful passion for adventure and enjoyed time outdoors with family, friends, and Molly. He was bigger than life, always lit up the room, and will be deeply missed…
