Mom-It has already been a year since your passing.  I miss you so much and I wish you were still here with us.  Until we meet in heaven please know that we all miss you and love you.

We will always fondly remember Norma for her never ending kindness and soft spoken manner. She was a lovely lady who touched so many lives through her unwavering grace. It was so inspiring to see how important her family always was to her and how dearly she loved each and everyone of you. How blessed she was to live independently at this time in her life and to live to almost celebrate her 92nd birthday! Having two grandchildren and one great-grandchild meant the world to her and one could see the pride in her eyes whenever she saw them or spoke of them. Having lost our Mother's, we both know how much it hurts to not have her with you at this time and we know how very deeply you miss her. May all the many lifetime memories you hold dear be of comfort to you at this time. While the pain of losing your dear Mother will never go away, it will indeed soften over time and may the wonderful legacy she leaves behind live within your hearts and continue to bless you and your family always.

Bellevue Schools were very fortunate to have Norma as an elementary school secretary.  She was kind, efficient, and always a lady!!  She loved her family.  
We would share baseball stories when her grandchildren were playing :Little League and Wayne was coaching. It was a pleasure to work with her at Sherwood Forest.  Joanna Olmstead (Anacortes, WA)

Norma was the school secretary at Ashwood Elementary my first year in Bellevue District [1967-1968].  She was wonderful and she was perfect and everything was always complete and correct. She was so nice to me as she was to everyone, but I was new and her thoughtful support and assistance was so appreciated. A lovely, beautiful person. Even though it has been so many years, I remember her fondly.

Aunt Norma we will miss you.  Our Berry family is much diminished with the loss of our Dad, and now you.    We knew your phone number by heart.  We could always count on your card to remember our birthdays and the holidays.  Your presence at Dad's memorial meant the world to us.  I loved our telephone chats.  I will miss them.  You were always so elegant and your house was so immaculate.  You gave us something to aspire to as adults with our own lives and homes.   You will be ever in our hearts.

Norma was the secretary at Ashwood Elementary when I became a principal.  She nurtured me through my first days and years in the profession--I was so lucky to have her!  My wife Leslie also loved Norma, as she could always count on Norma to get me out of the school in time to help with my two daughters.  Norma was unchanging and steady, with skills that were astounding in the years before technology made everything so much easier.  Her sense of humor was perhaps her strongest skill, as we could always share a chuckle at the antics of kids, teachers and parents.  I loved Norma and will always remember her.  --Ralph Allen
