Dear Kathy, Jimmy and Matt, 
We hadn’t heard from your dad in several months, so when I was sending Christmas cards, I googled him. I was shocked to learn he had passed away in April. Park and I were in the same 20 group with Bob and Barbara for years. They were such good friends and in more recent years, Park had monthly meetings in Seattle so we saw them as often as we could. We adored your mom and admired her courage throughout the years as she battled cancer. Your dad missed her so! He was so proud of you, as well as his grandchildren. The world has lost a fine man, and we were very proud to call him friend.

     Your parents were always so kind and I know they will be missed. My last memory of them was at Aunt Susan’s wedding. I was given a chance to really talk to your dad and I remember telling my dad, your uncle George,  how much I enjoyed our conversation. I loved seeing your family pictures.

Dear Kathy, Jimmy and Matt, 

Your parents were literally the first people we met when we moved into our home in 1986.  You lived across the street.  Your parents became some of our most treasured friends - in and out of the car business.  The stories we generated as parents growing our respective families cause a lot of laughter to this day.  I can't tell you how much we miss Bob and Barbara and how much we loved being your neighbors...and your friends.  With love,  Judy and Brad

There is not enough space here to say what Bob meant to me. I worked for (with) Bob for over 30 years. 
Bob was a very intelligent, hard working, and caring man who would command any room, not with an overbearing sense of self, but an everyman demeanor that would draw you in. 
He was very giving with his time, talent, and resources. 
But most importantly to me, he was a mentor to everyone that worked with him and for him. 
He talked not just about work (which he did a lot), but about what was going on in the world- about LIFE. 
There is no one that has had an impact on my life as much as Bob had, and there is no close second. 
Here is a peek into Bob:
We were both on a fitness kick one year, and he always said that he could do more push- ups than I could. One day he came into the Service Department that I managed for him, took his jacket off and challenged me to a competition in front of the employees on the shop floor. 
He was all business when he needed to be, but if I or anyone else seemed help or advice- he was always there for however long it would take.
I loved Bob Bridge, and I miss him 

 Bob Bridge was a friend and mentor who throughout his time as a  franchised auto dealer and Washington State Auto Dealers Association board member and president helped me  succeed in my job as WSADA's Executive Vice President and life. His generous  contributions to educational institutions that enriched the lives of children,  particularly those from underserved communities, his gracious acceptance of people from all  backgrounds, and his insatiable desire to grow, learn and teach new things made him an incomparable human being.
