Sandra Kathleen Hopkins

passed away on Nov. 12, 2015 at her home in Seattle, WA at the age of 70. Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Donald Hopkins and her four children: D.J. (Christy), Barry, Tycen, and Madeline (Alex). She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Amber and David, as well as seven siblings: Michael, Thomas, Sharon, Pamela, James, John and Merry. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Dennis and David. Sandra was born on Nov. 10, 1945 in Seattle, WA to Torrey Icen Pritchard and Madeline Goldie Barry. Her family spent several years in Lewiston, Idaho before moving back to Seattle in 1956, where she spent the remainder of her childhood. She married her husband Donald in 1966 and started a family. The family lived in California briefly before buying a home and settling in Seattle. Sandra spent her adult life loving and caring for all who entered her life, and was widely regarded as the pillar of her family. Sandra will be remembered as a loving wife, a dedicated mother, and so much more. She will be missed. A service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5th at Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Funeral Home (1215 145th Place SE, Bellevue, WA 98007).
