

Sheila was born in Bognor Regis England. Getting her teaching certificate from University of Oxford in 1950, she taught elementary education until 1956. Sheila then moved to Toronto Canada where she married her first husband Ken Battersby. Moving to the USA in 1959, eventually settling in the Lake Hills area of Bellevue in 1964 where she remained until her death.
Sheila took extreme pleasure in running her own home day care “Happy Time Day Care” which she started in 1984 and enjoyed for many many years. She made a positive impact to the lives of many children.
She married her second husband, Wilbur (Andy) Anderson, in 1979, being with him until his passing in 1995.
Sheila loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. She was a member of the St. Louise Church choir and then moved on to the Redmond Senior Center Choir which she cherished until 2020 when Covid shut things down.
Sheila is survived by her sister Babs, 3 children David, Toni and Peter (Lori), her 5 grandchildren Wesley (Abby), Tiffani (Manuel), Holly (Mike), Kyle and Jarod and her 6 great grandchildren Reiden, Iris, Myah, Adrian, Caleb and Eli. Sheila is preceded in death by her sister Jean and her parents Cecil and Isabella Bailey.
