you are the luckiest of all.  As I was reading through all the messages left by Uncle Thomas, it made me realize what is meant by 致死不渝的愛 .... I remember when I was once sitting on Uncle Thomas' lap in 六丈公's house when you guys were still in courtship, I was very very young but could already feel the sweetness between the two young hearts.  Now I can still feel this strong tie between you two.  It is true ... your kindness, your gentleness, your grace  .... will always be around us.

3 full years since the day you left me.  

I woke up this morning with a pain in my heart when I realized that 3 years ago, I turned over to touch you and discovered that you have passed away in your sleep next to me sometime in the early hours.  

Time has not healed, it never will.  And I do not want it to.  Time   makes me accept that you are physically gone and I am learning to live on my own.  

I look forward to joining you, whenever that may be.  I am glad that when that happens, I KNOW I will be lying next to you forever

Two years already since your passing

For 2 years I have not woken you up with a cup of Skimmed Milk Latte, extra hot.    2 years, I have not made Air Fryer Lamb cutlet medium rare for you.  2 years we have not sat on a sofa to watch Master Chef and Mastermind, and 2 years we have not held each other's hands to walk in the park

And 2 years nobody has called me "Tom"

In the past year, I have carried you in my heart during my visit to Sydney, Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe (for Kobe beef) and Nara, (all the places we have visited together), and I took you to new places we have not visited (Houston, Okinawa, Tokyo Snoopy Museum)

I really miss you terribly

I want to rejoin you asap

In the meanwhile, I wish you can come and visit me.  Although I have donated 99% of your stuff to Church, I have kept your facial creams, your electric toothbrush, your hair dryer, and your favorite shoes and jeans and scarf.   I look at these from time to time, and feel that you are actually living with me still.  I am sure that you can recognize them if you visit me.

Aunty Jean has always been a great and loving person who treated me like one of their loved ones. When I was very young, Aunty Jean and Uncle Tom lived quite near us in Waterhouse Avenue. Out of selflessness, they allowed us to come see them in their residence whenever I didn't feel well. From their kindness and goodwill, we were indebted to their love and care. 

When we last saw Aunty Jean, she told me to have a good life and never stopped being such an encouraging and supportive person. Despite the sad news that she has passed away, we will always remember the strong and everlasting impact she had on us and may she find her rightful place in Heaven.

Over 60 years ago, mom bring me to meet Auntie Jean and her parents in their home at Mid level.  When Auntie Jean called my mom 二家姐, I was surprised.  So many sisters,mom?  Auntie Jean smiled and told me about the SO families and how close she, auntie Eva and my mom were. 

That was my first impression of Auntie Jean.  Over the years, her kindness and generosity was firmly in my heart.  I’m so grateful Auntie Jean and Uncle Thomas for their helps and advice when my Dad had a serious healthy issue. Otherwise, Dad would had left mom and me much earlier.  

Words would not be enough to expressed how we felt. 

Auntie Jean's kindness and  smiling face will always remain in our heart.  We will miss you.

I remembered once when we were walking past the cafe across the road from Chatswood Chase on Sat afternoon. You and Mrs Lee were having afternoon tea there. You asked us to join you for afternoon tea. I remembered taking a photo with both you and Mrs Lee and the girls.
