

Tim graduated from Western Illinois University in 1981, with a degree in Geography. He received his Masters at the University of Nebraska in Meteorology.
Tim Began his career as a meteorologist working for his friend Tom Dunklee for many years before starting his own company, Pacific Weather Consulting, where he provided weather reporting and consultations for farmers in Eastern Washington and Oregon.
Tim’s life revolved around spending as much time with his family and friends from many joyous vacations to countless seasons coaching his three sons in Football, Baseball, and Basketball. His love for his community branched out to volunteering in classrooms at Eastgate Elementary to heading Newport High schools Football, Baseball, and Basketball booster clubs, and grilling for parents before Friday Night Football games. Tim enjoyed golfing, skiing, traveling, cooking, music, movies, Mariners, Sounders, Kraken, and of course the Green Bay Packers. As he grew older, Tim’s adventurous spirit kept him busy introducing him to new hobbies such as swimming, yoga, boxing classes, and even volunteering at meals on wheels every week. He loved his many pets he had throughout his life: Lindy, Maggie, Gracie, and Baxter. Most of all he loved his wife Kathy and the 40 years he spent together from moving to Washington together, raising 3 sons together, traveling across the world together, and the simple things such as sitting on the couch watching movies.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Marjorie and his brother Kevin. Tim is survived by his spouse Kathy and his sons Tucker, Trevor, and Trenton.
Family and friends and all who loved him are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at the Renton Pavilion Event Center at 233 Burnett Ave S. Renton, WA on Saturday, November 23rd, at 12:30.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in his honor to The American Heart Association. There will also be an annual golf tournament in his honor starting next September, where all proceeds will go to Meals on Wheels and local food banks.
