Verna Yee

Verna Yee, 47, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2014 with her husband and children by her side. Verna is survived by her beloved husband of 19 years, David, and their three beautiful children, Katie, Jonathan, and Amanda. Verna was born in Stockton, California on February 7, 1967, as the second child of Sam and Wing Yip. The family later moved to Seattle, Washington. After graduating from the University of Washington, Verna's innovative style paved her way in becoming one of Yuen Lui Studio's most sought after wedding photographers. Verna's passion for her children led her to be actively involved in their school communities. She had a genuine gift of compassion and a caring nature that touched everyone who knew her. Verna cherished her friends, loved good food, and enjoyed traveling. Verna's greatest gift to all of us is her photography as her photos all too often captured the essence of the moment that we will value forever. She was an amazing person who will be deeply missed by family and friends.
