  Dear Ron, Andy, Becky, Ginny, Paul, Chris, and the rest of Wendy's family,

Like everyone, I was so shocked and saddened to hear of your loss of beautiful Wendy.  I had not seen her for years, but I nonetheless considered her a dear friend.  Few people I have met in life come close to Wendy in terms of her warmth, authenticity, fun personality, and capacity for encouraging and having patience with others. I took several very rigorous Cascade Mt. backpacking trips with her...and loved her for encouraging my mother to keep going.  (Some of us had 60 pounds packs.)  I always thought of Wendy as stunningly beautiful--inside and out.  And, she was!

My heartfelt condolences to your entire family for the void her earthly absence leaves.  I hope you can draw strength and courage knowing that she was a strong believer...and that her beautiful Spirit remains...She is not only with God, but also with her beloved parents now.  We will all meet again shortly...and in the meantime, you all now have a really exuberant, loving, fun, and obedient Guardian Angel.
