Julia Ann Richards, a cherished and devoted resident of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on October 20, 1941, Julia was a faithful member of her community and family.
Julia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, with whom she shared nearly 61 years of marriage. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Terrie Chisholm (Mike), and her son, Joe Richards (Monica Mathias). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Shane Dilday, Brandy Rankin, Chad Dilday, Dylan Richards, Collin Richards, and Ryan Richards, as well as her great-grandchildren, Avery Dilday, Payeton Dilday, Conner Rankin, and Hudson Dilday.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Eunice (Harris) Irby, her brother, George Irby, and her sisters, Imogene Irby and Clara Humphrey.
Julia worked as a Lab Technician with Kraft Foods. Julia enjoyed working in her flower beds, canning from the garden, and overall farm life.
She quilted and gifted many quilts to her family and friends.
She was also a long-time member of Grace Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was active in Sunday school class and bible study group.
Julia Ann Richards will be remembered for being Mimi to all her grand children and a good friend to her neighbors and friends.
