After leaving the military, Lee spent several years as a truck driver, making long haul trips all over the Northwest. After becoming an owner of his own fleet, he spent time farming, but still continued to make his rounds out west. Lee and Charlene spent many years going on trail rides with friends, or enjoying fishing at the lake. Lee retired in 2010 and spent the rest of his time, raising cattle, working on the farm and spending time with his family. He loved his family immeasurably and he will be dearly missed by so many.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Meleta Mitchell.
Lee is survived by his wife, Charlene; daughter, Vicki Noah-Walker; grandchildren, Amber Cook (Chad) and Dakota Smith (Mary); and great-grandchildren, Macee Hickman, Jaxson Cook, Karleigh Cody, Noah Smith, and Abilene Smith.
A graveside service will be on Thursday, 11:30am at Coffelt Cemetery, Vaughn, Arkansas.
