Paula Ann Seay, 74, passed away on April 14, 2024 in Bentonville. She was born on August 23, 1949 in Jonesboro, AR to the late V.L and Ruby "Willodine" (Hopkins) Williams.
Paula is the oldest of four children in the V.L and Willodine Williams' family. She attended high school at Crowley’s Ridge Academy until her senior year; she then attended Walnut Ridge High School where she graduated in 1967. Paula enrolled in college at Southern Baptist College for one year. After becoming engaged to Roy - subsequently marrying in 1968 - she worked for Southwestern Bell for over nineteen years as the family moved between Air Force assignments in Arkansas and Texas. When Roy retired from the Air Force, Paula was diagnosed with cancer; she underwent a lumpectomy and the standard cancer treatment for the next nine months. Paula went to work for Walmart in May 1996. She was again diagnosed with cancer in 2004 and completed a lengthy treatment regimen while continuing to work at Walmart. Paula retired from Walmart in 2012. The Seays have three sons; Jeffery, who lives at home; Steve and his wife, Shannon who have one son, Wrigley and Greg and his wife, Danielle who have three kids, Brody, Vera, and Caylus. Paula enjoyed watching baseball, card games, computer games, family reunions, collecting crystal, and buying gifts for her family.
