Barbara Hope Waldrip 98, died July 19, 2015 at her home in Oklahoma City. Barbara was born on April 20, 1917 in Canton, Oklahoma the oldest of ten children to O.O. and Nellie Kelly. She graduated from Enid High School, attended Southwestern State College in Weatherford where she met and married John Waldrip in 1936. This union led to 3 sons and 55 years together when John died in 1991. Barbara was an “All Star” mom and grand mom, longtime member at Linwood Methodist Church, an avid reader and loved to dance and decorate. Barbara is survived by Bryan (Dorothy) Waldrip, Michael (Leslie) Waldrip, Steve Waldrip, grandchildren; Megan and Parker Johnson, also survived by sisters Ora Jean Bradley and Bonnie (Tom) Hasbrook, together with many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services; 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2015 at Linwood United Methodist Church with interment to follow at 2 p.m. Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford, Ok.
