Pastor Bill Moody

Our loving father and grandfather, Billy Wayne Moody, age 76, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021. He was born August 18, 1944 in Campbell, MO to Wayne and Wilma (Price) Moody. Bill was a Pastor for 56 years. Bill and his beloved wife Pam were married for 53 years. He enjoyed ministering to others, spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, singing and fishing whenever he could. Bill loved to make people laugh, especially with jokes and pranks. Bill was known for his giant smile, being quick to offer a listening ear or a word of encouragement. Bill was a member of Victory Baptist Church and enjoyed fellowshipping with friends. His greatest achievement in life was accepting Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 9. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Pam. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Danielle Moody of Bethany, grandchildren, Caleb, Kaila and Caden Moody of Bethany; sisters Janice Divine of Poplar Bluff, MO and Sharon Lee of Eldon, MO; as well as his church family and friends. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday, March 19, 2021 at Bill Merritt Funeral Service. A Celebration of Life will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Victory Baptist Church with interment to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, OK
