

Willie Faye “Billie” Dixon died October 30, 2015. She was born December 9, 1924 in Freck, Arkansas. Billie graduated from Paden High School, class of ‘42. She met and married Samuel Myrl Dixon in 1943. An executive secretary for over 40 years, she worked in the trucking industry for Voss Truck Lines and later Lee Way Motor Freight. In later years she was a million dollar producer as a real estate broker. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and was also a Life Member of the Order of Eastern Star. Her hobbies included crossword puzzles, playing Bridge, dancing at Post 12, the Red Hat Society, the Single Again group, and traveling. Her travels took her to every state in the US and Canada, and to every continent except Antarctica. She is survived by daughter, Myrna (husband Philip) St.George of Trenton, TX; her step-son-in-law, Don Billings of Battleground WA; Grandchildren: Ina St.George, Oxford, England; Jacque Billings, Doug Billings, Jenell (Bruce) McCann; Julie (Brad) Falkenstein all of Vancouver, WA; nine great-grandchildren (especially Cathleen Falkenstein); and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews who loved their “Aunt B”. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years; her step-daughter, Jeanette Billings, and 5 grandchildren.
