

Bing Crandall, 75, passed away April 3, 2012 with his family by his side. He was born Feb. 7, 1937 in Oelwein, IA to Howard and Ethel Crandall. He and his family moved to Oklahoma City in 1964 and he began work with Cardinal Pools in 1971. There he met Debra June Shipley and they were married in 1979. Bing retired from Cardinal Pools in 2011 after 40 years.
Bing loved spending time outdoors with family and friends, fishing being his favorite pastime. His love for fishing started on the Mississippi River when he was just a boy. It continued with the family’s annual trips to Lake Taneycomo and the quiet Port Aransas trips with his wife. He made everyone he knew feel like part of the family and held large 4th of July reunions every year.
Bing is survived by his wife, Debbie; daughter, Lori Czikora and husband Paul of Delaware; son, Lane and wife Lisa of Piedmont; brothers, Gary and wife Marian of Edmond, Dave and wife Nancy of Broken Arrow; sister, Linda Luckman and husband George of Olathe, KS; grandchildren, Stephanie, Brandon, Veronica, Anna, Arlena, and Emily; great grandchildren, Baylee, Aiden and Henley. Bing is also survived by a host of other family members as well as several very special friends.
