

Dreatha Lou Guthery (Boots) passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023 in Lexington, Oklahoma. Dreatha was born September 27, 1937 in Dibble, Oklahoma to Cecil and Edith (Cobb) Harmon. She is survived by her sisters, Peggy “Sue” Brawley, Helen Wiggley and Delores Ellis; daughter, Sheryl Addington, son, Jerry Cecil Guthery; granddaughters, Alicia Moore, Jena Pierce; great granddaughters, Aubree Bennett, Katie Pierce; great great-grandson, Jensen Bennett. Dreatha was preceded in death by her parents; Cecil and Edith Harmon, sister Betty Jean Lancaster; brother, Bobby Harmon; beloved husband, father and grandfather Jerry Ronald Guthery and grandson: Jerry Kieth Guthery.
Dreatha loved the outdoors and traveling in their various RVs through the years. They started in a surplus green army tent and ended with the Taj Mahal of 5th wheels. Over the years, Jerry and Dreatha were members of several camping clubs. They were founding members of Happy Time Campers. They spent many years as camp hosts where they met people from all over the country. Most of all she loved her time at Indian Point on Lake Thunderbird with her family. She was the co-author of 3 Legacy books on the Harmon family, teen queen pageant director for over ten years and all types of arts and crafts. One of her favorite things was line dancing with Jerry around the various clubs.
A graveside service for Dreatha will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 9:00 AM at Friendship Cemetery, South West Of Minco Oklahoma, Minco, OK 73059.
