Franziska Mills

She moved to the United States as a young married woman with 2 children in 1961 and they made their home in Oklahoma City.

In her younger years, Franziska loved to dance, especially to German polka music and big band music. Even when she was unable to dance anymore, she still enjoyed listening to music.

Her passion in life was animals. She loved her cats and feeding all the animals, including the stray cats and the birds.

Franziska was often quite ornery but had a heart of pure goodness. She enjoyed helping people and you never left her house without her feeding you.

Her fiery spirit and kindness will never be forgotten by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Bill Rosemeier; son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Sheila Mills; granddaughters, Julie Hennan and Jamie Hennan; great grandchildren, Katherine Hennan and David Hennan; as well as other family and friends.

A celebration of Franziska’s life will be held at 11am Wednesday, February, 12, 2025 at Bill Merritt Funeral Service.
