

Jerry Dane Lamb,59, of Oklahoma City passed from this life on December 4, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Services have been entrusted to the care of Bill Merritt Funeral Service and a service celebrating his life will be held at 2pm on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the Bill Merritt Funeral Chapel at 6201 NW 39th Expressway in Bethany. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 7th from 12pm to 8pm with the family greeting friends at the funeral home from 6-8pm Wednesday evening.
Jerry was born on September 17, 1957 in Oklahoma City, OK to Darryl and Helen (Patty) Lamb. He was raised in OKC and graduated from Northwest Classen High School in 1975. Following high School, Jerry had a few different jobs before finding his calling as a plumber. Jerry was a skilled plumber who enjoyed his trade. He spent many years working in the industry, but most of his years were spent working at Plumbing Solutions and later at Platinum Plumbing.
In 2014, Jerry married the love of his life Kim Watlington. Jerry and Kim packed many wonderful memories into their two years of marriage. Jerry was a kind and ornery guy who like joking with his friends and family to make them smile. He loved going to the gun range, hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes and jetski’s, and many other outdoor activities. Jerry left his family with so many fun stories and happy memories and he will truly be missed by those who knew him best.
He was preceded in life by his parents Darryl and Helen Lamb. He is survived by his wife Kim Lamb of the home; brother Larry Mark Lamb of Guthrie, OK; as well as numerous aunts, cousins and friends.
In Lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made in Jerry’s name to the ASPCA PO Box 96929 Washington, DC 20090-6929.
