My name is Steve Kerpan.  I was involved with Joe through our Sierra Madre Muzzleloaders Club in Saratoga.
Know that our thoughts and prayers are with both Joe and his family throughout this sad time for all of you.  Joe was a big part of our club for many years.  We all enjoyed his humor, and the fact that he helped us get things done with regards to our shoots and especially at rendezvous.  Joe was a good friend.
I also want to say that our club is going to try and have a remembrance for 'ol Joe too.  It hasn't been set up yet but is for sure in our plans.  We are really going to miss Joe as part of our gatherings at shoots, rendezvous, and just having a beer.
I wish all of you the best.
