Lafon Hazel Oden

Our dear mother, Lafon Hazel Oden, passed away on February 22, 2023. She was 80 years old. Born in Burkburnett Texas, February 19,1943. She grew up in Bethany, OK where she attended and graduated from Bethany High School. After High School she married John Vincent Oden II and had three children. She enjoyed traveling, entertaining, and most of all she enjoyed her family. She provided for her children and was an entrepreneur for over 40 years until she retired at age 69.She lit up every room she walked into with her sweet spirit and beautiful smile. She always had a strong foundation in her faith in Jesus and was a positive reinforcement for her family. We will truly miss her. She is preceded in death by her father, Ernest Price, mother, Dixie Price, and her brother Larry Price. She is survived by her son Brian Oden, daughters, Sarah Oliver and Michelle Oden. Grandchildren Kami Alford, Breanna Oden, and Kalya Collins. Great grandchildren, Peyton Alford, Kevin Alford, and Kian Alford.

Visitation will be 12pm-4pm Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Bill Merritt Funeral Service.

Services will be 10am Monday, February 27, 2023 at Bill Merritt Funeral Service with interment to follow at Mustang Cemetery.
