Mary F. Swaim passed away August 23, 2019 in Bethany, OK at the age of 85. She was born December 15, 1933 in Nichols, SC to Bruce and Rose Ann Long Ransome. Mary was a long time resident of Bethany. She was an active member of the Maranatha Baptist Church for over 35 years using her love of baking to sell baked goods and donated sales to support the churches missions. Mary loved cooking and baking and sharing that love with her family and friends. She worked for a courier service for several years and loved the interaction she got to have with the people she delivered to and worked with. She also worked as a sales associate for JC Penny’s in Penn Square mall for about 10 years. Mary loved her family which include 4 daughters, Sylvia Wilcox of Yukon, Jean Riley and Sharon Franklin both of Blanco, TX and Pamela Case and husband, Mike of Mustang, sister, Isla Pearl Horne of Florence, SC as well as 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Henry McNeil and Robert Swaim, 2 brothers, Jesse Ransome and Billy Ransome, granddaughter, Stacy Franklin and 2 sons-in-law, Lloyd Wilcox and E. B. Franklin.
