

Rosemary Schneider Dunkin, 88, of Oklahoma City, passed away on October 2, 2017 after a brief illness. A devoted mother and grandmother, she adored her two granddaughters, was a lifelong learner, loved nature, and was an avid OKC Thunder fan. She was born in Zanesville, Ohio to Joseph Donald and Ethel Ione Schneider. She graduated from Liberty Center High School and Ball State University with a nursing degree. In her 20+ years as a registered nurse, she cared for thousands of babies. She was a hero to her children, working tirelessly inside and outside of the home to support and care for them. In retirement, she was active in Covenant Presbyterian Church and spent her time reading and enjoying the company of friends and family even finding time to become a Master Naturalist along the way. Rosemary is preceded in death by her loving husband, Leon S. Dunkin, her brother James Schneider, and her sister Anne Perotta. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Liston (Marvin) of Oklahoma City; Amy Dunkin of Tahlequah, OK; Mindy Fuzzell (David) of Oklahoma City; her son, David Dunkin (Leigh Anne) of Seattle, WA; her two granddaughters, Megan Fuzzell (fiancé Matt Newman), of Oklahoma City; Sarah Fuzzell of Los Angeles CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday October 7th at 10:00 am at the Covenant Presbyterian Church. Burial to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
