Ruth "Ann" Simmons

Ruth “Ann” Simmons passed away January 19, 2020. She was born January 12, 1927 near White Oak, Oklahoma. The daughter of William Hardy and Mary “Terry” Allard. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband W.F “Bill” Simmons; one sister Hazel Engle; one brother Charles Allard; and one great-granddaughter Lauren “LuLu” Reynolds. She is survived by two sons, Steve Simmons and Randy Simmons and daughter-in-law Terri; grandchildren, Melissa, Clint, Stephanie and Sean; great-grandchildren, Bayleigh Marie, Makenzie Linh, Maycie Lein, Iris Blue, Ethan, Sarea and Aliah. She is also survived by one brother, Jim Allard and wife Alma, and former daughter in law Debbie Carlin.

Ann has been a longtime member of Putnam City United Methodist Church and was a former secretary for Putnam City Schools. She loved all her family dearly, her nieces and nephews and her many friends and neighbors. She believed the gospel of grace and salvation through faith in our risen Lord. (1Cor. 15: 1-4; Romans 10:9). She also loved reading and writing poetry.
