

Tom Brown passed away February 21, 2014. He was born on December 28, 1930 to Tom and Geneva Brown in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Steve Brown. He is survived by son Thomas Brown III, three grandsons Billy Brown and wife Courtney Brown, Justin Brown, T.J. Brown, one great grandson Jamie Brown, one brother Leroy Brown and friend, Glenda Allen. He attended school in Oklahoma City. He joined the Army-Airforce at the end of World II. After his Honorable Discharge he moved to Arizona and married
Erma Jo Sipes in 1950. He worked as an Analytic Chemist for Arizona Public Service. He loved spending time in Mexico and went as often as he could. He also loved flying his airplane. Later he moved back to Oklahoma where he built the first Styrofoam House built in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was a Life Member of the Fraternal Organization of Elks in Show Low, Arizona. A member of Partners of the America's. Tom and friends delivered over 400 donated wheelchairs to Mexico for people who could not afford to buy them. Tom had lots of stories to tell and everyone loved to hear them. He loved people and was never bashful if he met a stranger. They would soon be friends. He was loved and will be missed by many people. Thanks to the people at Warr Acres for their care and love. Memorial Services will be held at 10AM, Friday, March 7, 2014 in Bill Merritt Funeral Home. 6201 Northwest 39th Expressway, Bethany, Oklahoma. Minister Jerl Joslin officiating.
