Wanda M. Roberts-Henager

Wanda M. Barnes Robinson Roberts-Henager was born in Ada, OK on July 20, 1935 to Henry G. and Ruby (Derryberry Robinson-Leyerle) Barnes who preceded her. Wanda graduated from Putnam City High School, then furthered her education of Central State College where she met and married Clifford L. Roberts on December 23, 1954. Having celebrated 51 years prior to his death in February 2006. She worked for many years with her husband and adopted father, Ed Robinson, in the chemical manufacturing business. She retired from Liberty Mortgage Company of OKC in 1991. Wanda is survived by her husband, A.C. Henager, whom she married June 2007; children, Cliff “Pepper” Jr. (Sherry), Edward (Letha) Roberts, and Mary Coyne; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a host of sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and many friends. She was Past Matron of Westwood and Moore Eastern Star, Past Grand Representative to West Virginia and New Brunswick in Oklahoma; Adorem #95 Daughters of the Nile and Springdale Baptist Church. Wanda was very proud to be a Shriner’s Lady and enjoyed traveling with A.C. and attending Masonic, Sojourners, and Shrine gatherings with him. Services will be held at Bill Merritt Funeral Service 2pm Monday, February 14, 2022 with burial at Spring Creek Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to India Shrine Transportation Fund, Springdale Baptist Church, or charity of your choice.
