Wayne I. Shepherd went to be with his Lord and Savior on Oct. 18, 2011 in the home of his daughter, Gail Crawford, surrounded by family and friends. He was born July 30, 1924. Preceded in death by his parents, Irby and Lillian Shepherd, sister, Evelyn Moak; and son, Robert Shepherd. Survived by children, Rodney Shepherd, Gail Crawford and Shauna Beck; 16 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and a host of other loved family members and friends. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at Bill Merritt’s Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Bethany Cemetery.
