

Patricia Gritser, 92, of Bethpage, New York, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026. Born on January 3, 1934, Patricia was the beloved daughter of the late Pasquale and Anna Falco. She was the devoted wife of the late Frank Gritser, with whom she shared more than 55 wonderful years of marriage filled with laughter and unwavering love. Patricia was a loving mother to Ann Gritser (Bill Orlando) and the late Joseph Gritser (Bunny). She was a cherished and proud grandmother to Dena (Edward Faccio), Andrea Gritser, Joey Gritser (Amanda), and Jenna (Adam Silverman), and an adored great-grandmother to Sabella and Parker Faccio, and Joella and Luka Gritser. She was predeceased by her dear siblings: Christine (the late Bernard Nasshan), Anthony Falco (Josephine), and Florence Falco.
Patricia had a vibrant personality and truly enjoyed life's simple pleasures. She loved playing slot machines and scratch-offs, listening to country music and oldies, and indulging in her favorite treat, ice cream. A devoted fan of watching ice skating, football, and Wheel of Fortune, she rarely missed her favorite shows. She also enjoyed reading the newspaper and was especially skilled at completing the jumble puzzles. Known for her warm and social nature, Patricia was a true people person who found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, 234 Broadway, Bethpage, New York. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on May 1 at 10:00 am at St. Martin of Tours, 220 Central Avenue, Bethpage, New York. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, New York, where Patricia will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband.
Patricia will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, strength, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
