She is survived by her children James (Nancy) Hughes, Charles Hughes, Debra Jarmon and Jeff Hayden and Karen Hughes; grandchildren Michael, Kyle, Lauren, Marques & Elijah and eight great grandchildren.
Betty retired from the Binghamton Psychiatric Center after 30 years of service. In 2004 she moved to Ruskin, FL where she resided until recently. She enjoyed bowling and camping but most of all spending time with her family who will dearly miss her.
The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 1-3pm. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 3pm. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
