Clarence C. Stevens Jr. "CC", passed away on September 26, 2016 after a brief illness with his family at his side. He was predeceased by his parents, Clarence & Dorothy Stevens. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Stevens; daughters, Connie & Ronald Palmer, Cynthia & Michael Thomas, Aimee & Kevin Dailey; 4 grandchildren, Kyle & Kara Palmer, Skylar & Michaela Thomas; two sisters, Marjorie & Nicholas Branca, Florence Decker; brother, Gary & Kristina Stevens; several nieces and nephews. Clarence was a retired New York State Trooper for 28 years. He was a technician at the Board of Elections and an active member of the Elk Lodge #70. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 10:00 am at Christ Church, Binghamton. Burial will follow in Chenango Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 5-8 pm at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson.
