Irene H. Bennett, of Binghamton, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 13, 2014. She is survived by her loving family and many friends. She was a long time employee at Broome Developmental Center. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY. The family will receive friends on Monday June 16, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
