Jeffrey Scott Pierce, 67, died peacefully on October 9, 2014. He was predeceased by his father, William Pierce and wife, Carol (Richter) Pierce. He is survived by his loving mother, Ruth Pierce; brother, Andrew and Dorothy Pierce; sisters-in-law, Nancy and Matthew Zlomek and Janet Combs; nephews and nieces, Curtis and Daniel Combs, Matthew and Christopher Zlomek, Karin Lane (David Bedell), Sarah Benson (Richard) and Ryan Lane (Alexis). Scott graduated from Lafayette College and worked for 30 years for IBM as an electrical engineer. He was a talented artist and enjoyed ham radio and photography. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 1-2 p.m. at St. Mark's Church. A funeral service will follow. Burial will take place in Oneonta Plains Cemetery, Oneonta, NY on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
